Batman Actor Michael Gough Dies Aged 94

Michael Gough has died aged 94 at his home surrounded by family.He had not been well for over a year and passed away on March 18th.

Michael Gough is best known for playing the part of Alfred Pennyworth in the Batman films during the 80’s and 90’s. He first appeared in Tim Burton’s ‘Batman’ and fans have always warmed to Alfred and how he gave advice, and looked out for Bruce Wayne. Becoming a sort of father figure to the orphaned Gotham City hero.

Michael Gough was one of Tim Burton’s staple actors. He appeared in Sleepy Hollow and was the voice of Dodo Bird in ‘Alice In Wonderland’ and Elder Gutknecht in ‘Corpse Bride.’ He also appeared in various TV shows including Doctor Who,Crown Court,The Little Vampire and Sleepers.

In total he has appeared in 150 TV films,blockbusters, and TV shows.
