These 1910 ‘Cinema Etiquette’ screen shots, shown before silent films, were shared on Reddit recently. Ladies and gents in huge hats hasn’t been much of an issue lately but big hats ARE making a comeback the warmer the weather gets and so they pose a threat. We may need to start showing these again. But do we need more ‘Cinema Etiquette’ suggestions in screens before our films start?
Here’s a few we could do with:
1.When the lights go out get off Facebook and stop shining your phone light in our faces.
2.Take your rubbish with you, have you seen the state of cinemas after a screening?
3.Don’t even think of bringing stinky food in,I will report that shit.
4.Don’t act the bollocks, you’re not funny, you’re just a dickhead in the back row.
5.Be aware of how loud your voice is and shut yo’ mouth.
These are just a few off the top of my head but there are lots more things people rudely do in the cinema. Any of them rustle your jimmies in particular?
